If you had not already noticed this season's must-have accessory then open your eyes! Everyone is wearing the hippie hairband this summer. From Elle Macphersen to Misha Barton, Peaches Geldof and Bat For Lashes' Natasha Khan, all are wearing this 70's staple. Good news to as it will control unruly locks especially if you happen to be growing out your current hair style.

Rachel Leigh has got it right this season. Her plum coloured suede hairband is right on trend. And the clear crystal detailing adds that something special. What is also great about this piece is that once this trend has faded along with the bohemian tunics and wide leg jeans, wear it as a belt or a necklace.

I personally think Lisa Levine (as pictured) has nailed the look this season. Her uber-luxe leather hairband hints towards a Medieval vibe with the strong linked chain and it comes in three great colours - black, tan and white.
