The Retail Jeweller awards have been and gone now, and what a great night it was! Myself, Darius and Nathalie went along with Emily our new sales assistant (who is based at the Selfridges concession). I decided to opt for a Tom Binns necklace and bracelet, it certainly got a lot of attention. If you like to stand out from the crowd definitely invest in Binns this season.
After the champagne reception and Mica Paris had taken to the stage to perform her new single it was time for the award winners to be announced. Both Ana de Costa and Sarah Ho from Sho were up for the Young Jewellery Designer of the Year so we had our fingers crossed for both. Ana won the award this year and we feel she truely deserves it. it has been an amazing year for Ana - the Tanzanite Foundation Collaboration, Swarovski Runway Rocks (see image above), and now 'Young Jewellery Designer of the Year'. Whats next?
On another note, we are moving fast into the new season with lots of new designers and collections arriving in store. New designers include VeraMeat, Mascha, J Herwitt, and Katherine Wardropper. Fans of Zoe and Morgan should check out their new fine jewellery range that has been launched exclusively at Kabiri this season. Influenced by antique jewellery, this new collection has a fresh modern twist. I particularly love the Cupid ring that could be worn everyday. Their new fashion collection has also just gone on line today which features peacocks, pelicans and flowers set with garnets.
We will be sending out a newsletter shortly notifying you of all our new designers and collections so make sure you have signed up!
