Australian-born painter and sculptor Scosha Woolridge discovered her affinity for the craft of jewellery during years of world travel, learning ancient weaving methods while living in India, Thailand, Turkey and Brazil. All Scosha pieces are intricate works of art and are designed, crafted, and shipped from under one roof. Ancient techniques are still used in by Scosha to fuse metals and gems from her collections.
Launching her eponymous jewellery line in 2007 in Brooklyn, Scosha was selling her designs long before her move to New York, at a night-market in the sand dunes of Northern Brazil. Scosha is about the connection: between people, to one's ideals, to a special place, to a memory, to wit.
