Me&Ro at Kabiri

Me&Ro is a New York City-based jewellery design company founded by Robin Renzi and Michele Quan in the Summer of 1991. Today the company has grown from a two-person operation to almost 100 employees with three retail locations through which the passion for jewellery continues.

Me&Ro's art is informed by an awareness of the human need both to adorn and to communicate through jewellery. Equally important is the power jewelry has to express the human values of strength, love, and faith. Emphasizing the wearability of the designs, Me&Ro opt for subtlety over showiness, pursuing an aesthetic of simple beauty.

Me&Ro's aesthetic is transmitted through the natural beauty of the materials used. Integrating precious (Brown Diamonds, Rubies, Multi-Color Sapphires) rare (Antique Tibetan Coral, Andalusite, Brazilian Opals) and semi-precious (Turquoise, Lapis, Rutilated Quartz) stones (to name a few), all original designs are created by carving in wax or fabricating in metal. Cast in silver, gold and platinum, the pieces seek strength in both simplicity and weight. All precious, rare and semi-precious stones are individually set by hand.
