"MariaFrancescaPepe" is a Fashion Jewellery and Womenswear UK based Label, directed by Maria Francesca Pepe, who personally designs every item. All pieces are made in Florence, Italy, by hand.

Maria Francesca Pepe was born in Foggia, Italy in 1979. During her Fashion Design Ba at the 'Marangoni Institute', Milano, she studied fashion, illustration, pattern cutting, clothing making and the fashion business. In 2003 she was awarded the Tannan Fashion Award.

After graduating with the maximum grades and showing her first Collection at the 'Marangoni Fashion Show' during London Fashion Week 2003, she worked for Kookai. After a season Maria Francesca starts designing at Luciano Soprani, alongside Alessandro Turci. After two seasons at Soprani, where she became Turci's personal assistant, she is accepted and completes the Master in Fashion Womenswear at Central Saint Martins, London. Her womenswear collection, shown as the finale at the London Fashion Week Central Saint Martins show. The collection, including jewellery and footwear, gets a great response from the press.

Straight after the Ma, Maria Francesca designs alongside Jens Laugensen his S/S 2008 collection and concieves to build up her own brand and company focusing on jewellery design.
