| CC Skye is the quintessential LA girl. Before launching her eponymous jewellery line, she was Associate Producer at MTV Networks and then produced fashion documentaries profiling designers and other fashion icons for the style network E!. CC Skye first designed jewellery in the back streets of Kathmandu, Nepal, living with a shaman in the hills of the Himilayas while compiling a documentary on the aesthetics of Hindu and Buddhist worship.
CC Skye launched her debut line in Autumn 2004, fusing glam rock design with couture elegance. The debut collection was a bold blend of sterling and gold fringe, leather, feathers and gem stones from rock n roll classic to fantasy couture.
This season's collection is reminiscent of Hermes enamel bracelets blending with CC's rock n roll sensibility. It is the new must have for the season. Boys and girls are both embracing this look, layering the skinnies together or wearing just one for a bold statement. The colours available are Navy, Yellow, White and Black with a highly polished buckle detailing which doubles as a functional clasp. |
